PlanGrid Closes $1.1 Million Seed Round
May 29, 2012 by Ryan
We’re really excited to announce that PlanGrid has closed its seed round and is now in the process of expanding the team and accelerating our development. A really great group of investors have come on board to support us including: Paul Buchheit, creator of Gmail, Matt Cutts, head of Google’s Webspam team, 500 Startups, Box’s Box Innovation Network (/bin), Navitas Capital, and Ray Levitt, Director of Stanford University’s Construction Engineering department.
Although raising money isn’t in itself any real achievement, the investment will allow us to bring on more people and really add more fuel to our fire. Our aim is for every construction project in the world to communicate better, to never build of outdated information, and to never print out another page of paper. We’ve got a long ways to go, but this milestone is one step closer. Keep on building!
